Stage Craft Workshops for Performers - April 7th and 13th

Want to get the most out of your fifteen minutes on stage? Has the biggest obstacle to fame and future fortune been your fear of microphones and monitors? Do you struggle to hear yourself adequately? Should you DI your instrument or mic it? What's a DI, anyway? Do you know what you need and how to get it? Answers to these questions and many more can be yours!

Following the AFF Tech Crew workshop at on AFF Set-up Sunday, April 7th, the Folk Festival sound engineers (Lucy Peckham and Mike Sakarias) will help improve your stage craft. The workshop will be repeated on Saturday, April 13th. Both workshops will take place on the main Festival stage in Centennial Hall, and will offer on-stage practice. Bring your instruments and voices and try things out.

On Sunday, April 7th, the workshop start time will be approximately 6:30 PM, immediately following the tech crew workshop. On Saturday, April 13th, the 90 minute workshop will begin at 10:00 AM.

Call Mike Sakarias at 586-4422 if you have any questions.
